What an ATS actually does with your resume
An applicant tracking system parses your resume into plain text, maps sections (experience, education, skills) and compares them with the job requirements. Graphics, multi-column layouts, headers and images are frequently lost. That is why strong candidates get rejected: not because of the profile, but because the system could not read it cleanly.

Is the ATS resume checker free?

Do I have to re-check for every job?
Yes, and that is the point. The score is always relative to one specific posting, so a resume that scores 90 for one role can score 60 for another.
Is my resume stored?
The text is used to produce your score and report. Do not paste information you would not send to an employer.
Does it work for US-style resumes?
Yes. It works for one-page US resumes and for longer CVs, in English or German.
